Who we are

Appita is the not-for-profit association serving the Australian and New Zealand pulp and paper industry. Appita ‘s mission is to facilitate the interchange of information for the industry, across the whole supply chain from forests through to end uses of paper products.

Vision: Delivering Performance through Productive People.

Underlying the vision are supporting mission statements to help the association deliver on its promise; providing value back to the industry:

1. Be a trusted source of information across all segments of the pulp and paper industry
2. Develop productive people through targeted training
3. Encourage and promote innovation and technology in the manufacturing and use of pulp, paper and associated products
4. Be a catalyst for the development and transfer of technical information, data and standards fundamental to the industry
5. Provide the structure for effective networking for the industry
6. Build strong international connections
