Committees

Apart from the Special Interest Groups there are several other specialised Committees within Appita

• Executive Committee
  Is nominated and voted for by Appita members, sets the strategy for Appita and policy on how Appita operates.
• Editorial Committee
  Is responsible for the compilation of Appita Journal.
• Career Development Committee
  Is responsible for Short Course Program offered by Appita.
• Membership Committee
  Assesses applications for membership of Appita and nominates the level of membership.
• Technical Committee
  Assesses all papers offered for presentation at the Appita Annual Conference and manages the Appita Visiting Speaker Program.
• Testing Standards Committee
  Is responsible for the development of the Australian/New Zealand Standards series 1301.
